Oakura School tasked Southcoast with major redevelopment works that consisted of; demolition of existing classroom, major classroom refurbishment, complete new build of multiple classrooms and breakout spaces, classroom relocation, concrete works, construction of new deck and verandah, and major landscaping work while preserving the schools native Nikau tree. Project challenges arose due to Covid19 causing both material delays and staff absences, however ensuring the project ran smoothly for the school was our top priority.

Oakura School Principal described our work as, “Their solution-focused approach and attention to detail has made them a pleasure to work with and has ensured the end result is a building and courtyard that our whole community is incredibly proud of.”
